From: chaswood on 22 Dec 2009 16:22 A client is using Outlook 2007 and Exchange 2007 on SBS 2008. Everything has been fine but just this week they began getting "Microsoft Office Outlook Credentials" popups every time they start Outlook with: Connect to remote.ajax.com Username: Password: remote.ajax.com is the name configured in Hub Transport as the FQDN the outbound facing SMTP connector will provide in response to EHLO. I can't figure how the workstations would ever see this. Cancel clears it and everything seems fine otherwise, but it keeps reccurring. Any ideas? -- IT Consultant Heartland Computer
From: nickasg on 6 Jan 2010 12:43 Same setup with a client of mine. Started happening this week. Any luck on what is causing it. I assume it is an update? The popup says the internal name in the title but has the external FQDN in the box. Entering credentials doesn't work. Clicking cancel does, but it can happen three times in a row before it will go away for a little while. -Nick "chaswood" wrote: > A client is using Outlook 2007 and Exchange 2007 on SBS 2008. From: wigital on 14 Jan 2010 20:20 Outlook pop ups on SBS 2008 clients can be resolved by installation of Exchange Server 2007 Update Rollup 9. This pop up authentication issue occured after Server Updates but Update Rollup 9 fixes the problem. We blogged the solution here http://wintivity.wigital.net/sbs/exchange-2007-sp1-update-rollup-9-fix-outlook-pop-up-sbs-2008/ Hope this helps Mark "chaswood" wrote: > A client is using Outlook 2007 and Exchange 2007 on SBS 2008.
