We need a lot more info. What are the exact symptoms when access to network resources fails? Have you restarted the server since installing the updates? Any errors or warnings in the system or application logs on the server or workstations? Can you ping the server from the workstations and the workstations from the server (just check one or two)? Are all automatically started services running on the SBS (other than performance logs and alerts)? Have you run the SBS BPA? If you're referring to the user templates in the SBS console or Active Directory Users and Computers? They normally show there with a red X - that's expected.
