From: George's Pro Sound Co. on 14 Apr 2010 09:13 With Behringer buying Midas recently and the shift away from antique old school systems Midas has pulled the Heritage series from it's line up seems Big analog steamships just are not selling as well as the High performance speedboats like the pro6 is (my rewording of the Midas statment ) So long Heritage cant wait until Behringer gets that POS venice down to a price equal to its quality(about 800$) I am glad I am not sitting on hundreds of thousands of dollars of stale inventory like the real big boys are!!!! George

If I had a festival setup with mix positions for both side by side and the SX-1 had all the outboard I needed, I'd use it no question. Really only $2500 for the SX-1?? Wow. What kind of shape is it in? As for the Heritage 3000 and the XL4, they'll be relevant for quite a while still. You'll probably have to wait 5 years for the H3000 to see a big price drop. That said, you can get used XL4's for under $30k now.

I have seen xl4s for 8K$ in"good shape" the price drop IMO will not take that long, 840s are going for 1200 now, just got to be ready to move when one shows, they don't last long most sellers are still trying to get 5K for their 840s and those are going unsold, all ya got to do is make a offer with CASH in hand and 9 out of 10 times the offer is accepted I just bought a 32x8 wheatstone, fully jensen transofrmered in/out for 300$ with case George |
