From: VENZY on 19 Nov 2009 11:46 Hi Gurus, I am trying to create a virtual network to my office and as per the docs provided I need to select Authentication EAP type as 'Protected EAP ( PEAP) in windows XP. But to my surprise that option is missing from the drop down list. I only see smart card and ED5 options. Is there any way I could install a patch or download this EAP software or any suggestions to make it appear in the drop down list would be appreciated. Thanks for you help in advance. Regards, Venzy

I believe that is a requirement for PEAP functionality in Windows XP. I'm not 100% sure about this, but you probably also must have Windows XP Professional Edition. You can get SP3 through Windows Update or at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/322389 -- James McIllece, Microsoft Please do not send email directly to this alias.
