INFormation files are not usually called by Windows or by printer functions. They are used only to alter the OS by loading drivers (which thereafter the Hive/Registry will load) -- and if all INF files were deleted a good installation would reboot just the same. So it may not help to know what procedure or app says this file is "missing." -- Don Phillipson Carlsbad Springs (Ottawa, Canada)
