From: Doug Robbins - Word MVP on 27 Mar 2010 03:53 Click on the Maximize button (the one to the left of the Red/White X button at the top right of the screen. Maybe that button had been clicked when it was in its "Restore Down" mode and then the screen was manually sized and moved so that the status bar was below the bottom of the screen. -- Hope this helps. From: Stefan Blom on 28 Mar 2010 14:26 Doug has given you the most likely answer, I believe. In case the status bar isn't completely gone but missing options, right-click it and select (from the context menu that appears) what you want to show. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "minnie21" <minnie21(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:F0D65FC4-0C5F-46E1-B7CB-FC51C6D8FCDA(a)microsoft.com... >I dont know how my status bar which is at the bottom of the document is > missing. From: Jay Freedman on 28 Mar 2010 15:35 There is one more possibility. The status bar in Word 2007 is supposed to be "always on", and there is no option in the user interface to turn it off, but the macro language can control it. It's always possible that some macro, add-in, or other process has turned it off. So try this: Press Alt+F11 to open the macro editor, and press Ctrl+G to open the Immediate window. Paste this line into the window and press Enter at the end of it: CommandBars("Status Bar").Visible = True -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit.
