....and later is today. Just been invited, just upgraded. Will have a
play setting up shared calendars and hopefully then I can retire the
home-run CalDAV (which works fine, but was a fair amount of faff).

Make sure you read the instructions they send you... synching the
calendar to an iPhone you can just enter your MobileMe details and it'll
figure it all out, but to a Mac and an iPad, it has to be explicitly told
to use the me.com CalDAV server. Actually, I think the instructions say
you just need to do that for an iPad (older version of iOS), and the Mac
should be fine via normal MobileMe, but I found that wasn't the case.
I have all three working now, anyway, and it's all fine.

Also, it takes a while for calendars on different devices to update and
sync. It took about ten minutes on my macbook, for some reason and I was
getting a bit anxious -how do you downgrade, etc. But it all came right
in the end.

I also find that I need to check the option to 'keep a local copy of the
calendar in this computer', as 'these computers', in particular my
macbook and my ipad, are not always connected to the internet or able to
pull the calendars off mobileme.

I'm very quickly getting fed up with this, as even after following all
the instructions, it only syncs appointments created or modified on the
web page but not iCal or iphone/ipad calendars. Will probably bail out
of the beta in the next few days, there's nothing in it all that is that
very useful to me.

This works, but local changes in devices don't seem to sync, only those
made on the web page... Hmpf....
