What can I do about it? If you have a trial version of Office (typically pre-installed on a new computer), it has expired and you'll have to buy a retail copy. Or, if you already have a licensed copy, maybe you haven't activated it. Click Office button > Word Options > Resources > Activate and see what happens. Or (unlikely) your template and/or document is protected. Click Review > Protect Document and, if the Stop Protection button appears at the bottom of the Restrict Formatting adn Editing pane, click it. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit. |
