Hi,
I have created a new monitor profile (.ICM) using Color Munki which is
located in \windows\system32\spool\drivers\color. I have told PSP (both X2
and X3) in preferences - file locations - monitor profiles that this is
where the profiles are but PSP does not appear to take any notice - the
profiles do not appear in the color management monitor profile drop-down
box.

This profile is also the default in Windows

What am I doing wrong? I have tried Corel support without any joy and at
this stage am not prepared to pay!

Thanks,

Gordon

If its windows default Then you will not want X3 to change anything and load
it twice

Thanks - so I should use PSP with no colour management? I also have Qimage
as a printing program that does recognise both the monitor and printer
profiles - I guess that the printer should also have colour management
switched off?

Is there a decent idiot's guide to all this somewhere?

Thanks,

Gordon

Yes turned of in X3. The printer will be using its own ICM For its own
paper just by selecting the type of paper Premium Photo Glossy, Photo
Glossy. Etc
Ah a Guide Kris Z did give a Long description on why and why not's when Jasc
Introduced Colour management But its long gone
