From: conundrum on 2 May 2010 11:52 Hi all. Due to a certain provider helpfully locking this phone it won't work in the Channel Islands thanks to the topups being available only in the UK. Does anyone know if it is possible to legally unlock this phone or not? have already tried the "unlock by IMEI" and it didn't work. i am aware that they locked these for a reason but it sucks because these phones work fine and make ideal "emergency" phones in the event of being stuck in the middle of nowhere with a flat car and main phone battery. any ideas? -A contact via google mail..

The orignal network will be able to, as long as you are the registered owner. -- Regards Jon
