From: French Quarter on 29 Jan 2010 13:23 Hi, Msconfig.exe Startup Tab is the last one there but not the TOOLS tab. Is there a fix for this? The 906569 update was DL'ed and run but it is for Srv Pak 2. If SRV Pak 3 is installed but no TOOLS tab what would you do? This article describes the new Tools tab that is available in the System Configuration utility (Msconfig.exe). The new Tools tab is available after you install the 906569 update on a Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2)-based computer. XP Home with Srv Pak 3. Thank you for your quick response. From: Tim Meddick on 29 Jan 2010 13:58 I would make sure that you are using the same copy of [msconfig.exe] as stored in the folder : *%SystemRoot%\ServicePackFiles\i386 *(Assuming you have, indeed, installed SP3) == Cheers, Tim Meddick, Peckham, London. :-) "French Quarter" <French.Quarter(a)tulane.edu> wrote in message news:FCB16967-1D2E-4E3F-A748-8705669CA5C6(a)microsoft.com... > Hi, > > Msconfig.exe Startup Tab is the last one there but not the TOOLS tab. > > Is there a fix for this?
