From: Johanna on 22 Feb 2010 12:23 I have pinned the Recent Documents, and they still do not remain after I turn off my computer. what do I do?
From: Graham Mayor on 23 Feb 2010 01:47 I assume from the term 'pinned' that this is Word 2007? Is this a personal computer or a networked company computer? If the former see http://www.gmayor.com/what_to_do_when_word_crashes.htm then http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/ProblemsStartingWord.htm or http://support.microsoft.com/kb/921541 with particular emphasis on the Word data key in the registry. If the latter, you need to speak with your company IT department as the recent file list is stored in the registry and it appears that the registry settings may be recreated when you log into the system. -- <>>< ><<> ><<> <>>< ><<> <>>< <>><<> Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org <>>< ><<> ><<> <>>< ><<> <>>< <>><<> "Johanna" <Johanna(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:5BE43867-BABD-4D8C-9AD3-D443BD610DF3(a)microsoft.com... >I have pinned the Recent Documents, and they still do not remain after I >turn > off my computer. what do I do?
