They also usually have a method to retrieve already-read messages, though, but how to do that is different for each newsreader. -- David W. I have reinstalled my newsreader but that did not work my first reply to you did not stick. I have set windows 7 to run Thunderbird in XP mode. I don't know what is going on. Thunderbird 3.03 should work and was working. Works in other newsgroups. Lets hope this message sticks.
