The general way that newsreaders work is that they don't display
messages you've already read. They also usually have a method to
retrieve already-read messages, though, but how to do that is
different for each newsreader.

Something else is going on, this is my second reply to you.
I have reinstalled my newsreader but that did not work my first reply to
you did not stick.

I have set windows 7 to run Thunderbird in XP mode.

I don't know what is going on. Thunderbird 3.03 should work and was
working. Works in other newsgroups.

Lets hope this message sticks.
