Hi,

I'm running outlook 2007 with hosted Exch 2007. I get these mystery
reminders popping up, plus some that pop up duplicated (but only have
one instance listed).

I am only looking at calendar items within the Exchange folder, and
there is only one called "Calendar".

When I look for the duplicates, there are none. This I verified by
selecting calendar, view, current view, category.

Some reminders that pop up aren't listed at all.

I have a feeling I may have an invisible older version of my calendar
running at the same time as the normal one. When I updated my inbox +
pst files from outlookXP to outlook 2007 I had to reenter all the
recurrence on the calendar items and there was 2 calendars (the second
called "Calendar1").

I did delete this calendar from the old pst before importing it into
exchange.

Does anyone have any ideas on how this could happen, or how to resolve
it?

Thanks,
Far

It's definately showing entries from 2 calendars.

One is fine, it's what is expected and the entries are visible under
calendar.
The other is an old calendar of mine, which has it's normal entries
duplicated and ones that had been "slept" not duplicated when they pop
up. It's from when I was tidying up the officeXP version for the
upgrade to Office2007. This calendar is not listed nor has it's entries
visible anywhere - except when they pop up as reminders.

Has anyone else had this sort of phantom calendar sympton, or has any
ideas about how to track it down?

Thanks,
Far

Are you using Outlook 2007 to access this account?

Let's try to see what happens when you hit Ctrl-6, which switches the
view to show all objects associated with a mailbox.

Please grab a screenshot of that and post it somewhere.

Awesome - cntl-6 sorted it out.

The folder was under deleted items and was called "calendar1".

Just needed that cntl-6 tip to get it in a format where it was visible
:-)

Thanks Leonid !
