Dogs, i guess that you are too young to remember the 1967 war. The Arabs started it and got clobbered in days. It is precursor the West bank and Golan heights disputes. I wish Israel would get its collective head together about whose territory it is.

Silly us, though those ideas make real sense the politicians are far too stupid and prejudiced to figure out how to make political hay out of it. I will bet the Chinese would be very glad to buy our "obsolete" shuttle technology, vehicles, launch stands, refurbishing facilities, staff expertise (temporarily to accomplish technology transfer) and all.

My father served in the Golan under the UN (peacekeeper) before he met my mother. He showed me some pictures of him and his buddies sitting in a 50 cal gun emplacement drinking beer.;-) Its refereed to as the seven day war. They had it on the history channel. A handful of Israeli tanks slaughtered a regiment or so of tanks. |
