I've just tried the same driver in Windows 7, under which a call to
GetIfTable takes a only 45ms. This is obviously a vast improvement on
Vista. Whilst a re-write of the drivers is still the preferred
solution, at least Win7 is giving an acceptable performance. (Server
2003 / 2008 are still untested!)
