THANKS VERY MUCH Tried... - Checking that the keyboard is plugged in (if not bluetooth) - Replacing the keyboard with a known good keyboard You have not given enough information, really... - Is the keyboard USB or PS/2 (if either) - Is the keyboard bluetooth? - Does it (did it ever?) work in the system BIOS (if so - it may be a driver issue, if not - it's likely to be a dead keyboard.) Essentially - it sounds like the keyboard is physically dead. Replace it with a known good keyboard. Wireless keyboards, to me anyway - have always been a wash when it comes to personal use. 1 in every 1000 might actually have a legitimate reason for a wireless keyboard beyond stopping cable clutter and the ones stopping the cable clutter seldom move the keyboard from its current location meaning the cable would be a minimal issue - just a eye sore (maybe.) -- Shenan Stanley MS-MVP -- How To Ask Questions The Smart Way http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html
