From: Jeffrey K Jeffrey on 23 Jun 2010 00:58 I was having issues installing both KB982526 and KB982670. I manually downloaded them and tried to install them. Got an error from the installer that the updates were not applicable to my machine. Both updates indicate they are for Itanium based systems in their notes. My system is definitely not an Itanium system.
From: PA Bear [MS MVP] on 23 Jun 2010 02:24 To avoid confusion, please begin a new thread about your specific problem and computer. State your IE version and full Windows version (e.g., WinXP SP3; WinXP 64-bit SP2; Vista SP1; Vista 64-bit SP2; Win7; Win7 64-bit) in your first post. Thank you. Hi Andy, That's what I asked on the 19th! Still no response. Perhaps readers of my post thought I was being sarcastic. Andy I.
