Just allocated a pair of volumes to a new Exchange 2003 box, a 20gb
log LUN and a 400gb Store LUN.

What is the best Allocation Size Unit to use please (this box is for
Exchange and nothing else) and both LUNs will be holding logs and
stores for multiple Storage Groups.

4kb is the figure that seems to keep popping up.

The partitions have been aligned using diskpart and the underlying
file system (this is on ESX) has also been aligned).
