Hi everyone,
In navision database server we have to put .fdb file in Database Server
folder. Execute the schemaxt.exe file & modify the license file name as
fin.flf & put also this in Database Server folder.

Is there another step to setup database server ? coz I am facing
connection problem from from client to server?

Hi Sandip,

You have to enter the Navision Server name and select the database, license
file when you install Navision Server. After the install you might need to
enter the ip address and the Navision server name in the clients host file
which is located in the windows\system32\drivers\etc folder.

eg : 192.168.1.4 NAVSERVER
