From: robert.szczepanek on 5 Oct 2005 10:06 it is only 1 reason - i wanted setup VPN between PIX and Netscreen - and My company deicded to buy SUPPORT - and i will have support - i do not have to worry about screen os anymore

However, if the vendor is no longer willing to sell support, presumably they do not expect the product to generate further revenue and have ceased developing firmware updates - so why not make the last version freely available? > So, he may not have any other option.
