After all the bantering of the thread, the irony of the joke is - the
computers are cooler and cheaper then what Commodore was producing and has
more OS options built in. All it needs to use the Commodore logo is a
sticker. 6 months has past since Commodore et al produced a darn product and
under the U.S. trademark laws, it is up to contestable grabs. Companies can
forfeit their trademark rights if they do not actively advertise and produce
real products for more then 6 months.

This is why real companies invests money produce products with the brand.

A trademark is presumed abandoned after three years, not six months.
Besides, isn't the Commodore brand currently owned by Commodore
Gaming?

Yep thats who owns it i'm just going to do a itx or mATX in a old style case
with keyrah 8-bit right to the usb header few cuts and it's done..

it very much depends on the country ... eg here in germany the commodore
brand is even shared by ~10 different companies.
