Actually, it looks like a Mac path:

><img src="file:///D's 200/Users/andrews/Documents/ Websites/Cambodia
>Kids/Images/Page11/MBike2.jpg" width="160" height="213" alt="Mountain Bike" />

I suspect the single quote between D and s may be causing the problem,
but I know zilch about Mac's. ;-)

Hello,

Read through both the latest suggestions and decided to try getting rid of the
single quote first as it was the easiest to do. I am on a Mac by the way...

Well, that solved the problem. Changed my hard disk name from D's 200 to just
D 200. After that I had to reset the site root folder but now pages made from
the template are correctly formatted...

Thank you so much for this excellent troubleshooting experience. I guess this
single quote problem would be considered a bug (surely single quotes should be
allowed in the names of hard disks???) as I don't ever remember Apple saying
don't use single quotes when naming a hard disk...

Should I/we report it to Adobe? I would be happy to. I don't know how these
forums work but it might be an idea to post a topic/sticky with appropriate
keywords so that others will be made aware of it easily.

One remaining question. In the template, I used Modify/Page Properties to add
a background to it. When I make a new page from the template, the background
does not appear. Is that normal or should it appear?

Thanks so much.

Hurray!

It's a well known issue that Mac users often use punctuation and/or
other unusual characters in drive/path names and that tends to cause
problems for some portions of Adobe applications. That's why you were
asked to post the code from that image in an unsaved page. The src
attribute of the img tag will show the complete path.

You can report it at http://adobe.com/go/wish/ (the same form is used
for bug reports and feature requests. Like I said, it's a fairly well
known issue, but more reports of a bug sometimes tend to work like votes
to fix it. The more reports they get, the more likely it will be
addressed.

It's not normal, but I'd have to see the code to hazard a guess at what
the problem might be.

I have just submitted a bug report...

For the background image not appearing problem, I take it you would need to
see the code of the template page.

Should I post it here? It is about 10 pages in length... Or can you suggest
another way.

Thanks!
