From: Peter Funk on 25 Nov 2008 13:00 Al, It is still in Beta as we're waiting on Don for some changes. The functionality of the RDD should stay the same, there are just some dependency issues on the Vulcan runtime we need to resolve. Peter Funk Advantage R&D
From: Geoff Schaller on 25 Nov 2008 16:25 Michael. Before bBrowser there was Grid Pro. Grid Pro was all VO'ers had as an alternate to the DataBrowser but it is a pre VO 2.0 day thing and its technology and implementation suck (compared to bBrowser). Willie Moore did a sterling job of updating it to work with VO 2.7 etc but it should only be needed by those who committed to it in the early days and can't take it out now. Don't bother with it. We have bBrowser. Cheers, Geoff "Michael Hagl" <haglmi(a)hagl.de> wrote in message news:ggh0tl$jqf$1(a)online.de: > Hi Brian, > > what is GridPro ? From: Willie Moore on 25 Nov 2008 17:17 Geoff, I only use GridPro in my legacy code. I use bBrowser for new code myself. I do have GridPro working for Vulcan cause I have a large project that was developed with it that I have "transported" to Vulcan. Would cost way too much to rip out the GridPro code and put in bBrowser.
