From: Joe.Harleyrider on 12 Apr 2010 22:22 I create and post a word document on my computer, I save it as a .wps file, then post it on my Yahoo Group, but no one can open on their computer. Why not, and what do I have to do to make it work so that anyone can open it?
From: Graham Mayor on 13 Apr 2010 00:48 WPS is not a WORD document, but a WORKS document. Recent versions of Works can save in DOC format - but whether they need to have had Word installed to provide the filters is not clear. See what file type options you have in the SaveAs dialog. -- <>>< ><<> ><<> <>>< ><<> <>>< <>><<> Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org <>>< ><<> ><<> <>>< ><<> <>>< <>><<> "Joe.Harleyrider" <Joe.Harleyrider(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:A1A32EB6-D208-4EF1-81B7-4FB848276213(a)microsoft.com... >I create and post a word document on my computer, I save it as a .wps file, > then post it on my Yahoo Group, but no one can open on their computer.
