From: Raj on 1 Mar 2010 05:25 My computer is running Windows XP SP3 with Office 2007. When I try to open a PPT I get, No text converter is installed for this file type. I am sure power point is installed and was able to open and run presentations. Any help would be appreciated Thank you Regards Raj

This message might mean that your PowerPoint file is corrupt. Do you have a backup copy of the file to try opening? Also, are you up to date on service packs for Office and the PowerPoint viewer, if you're using it?
