Hi!

Is anybody able to give me more information to solve my problem?

Best regards from Germany

Should keep this in the newsgroup. You get the benefit of way more brains
than just mine. If you didn't realize you sent this direct, you did.

The IP is handed out by Active Sync, or WMDC, depending of course on which
you are running. The sync software acts as a small router, handing out
exactly one address, which is fixed, but I don't recall it at the moment,
and the sync software has another address in that subnet, also fixed, and it
is the gateway. There are a few IP diagnostic programs around that run on
the PDA that would at least show if it is getting the right IP from AS/WMDC,
but not why if it doesn't. Take this back to the greater group, and let
folks there know. Also, any firewalls? The IP that AS/WMDC uses may be seen
as a foreign IP if not set right.

Subject: Re: Not possible to syncronize Outlook and PDA

Hi Sven!

The device is a PDA of the phone company O2 in Germany, that is called "Xda
orbit". What I don't understand is, who is acting as a server and serves the
ip adress, the PDA or my local computer? I suppose the PDA. If I look at the
tool IPCONFIG I can see, that the network interface, that is responsible at
my local computer has got an ip-adress. See attatchment adapter number 13.
Thank you for further support! Wolfram
