From: pbsterling on 19 Oct 2006 10:06 I get an "Unable to perform OCR in this language. Please change your OCR language setting to an available OCR language." However, when I go to set this in on the OCR settings tab (under options), I find the drop down window under OCR language has [Default Office Language Setting] but no other selectable languages. How do I populate the list?
From: Bob Buckland ?:-) on 21 Oct 2006 08:50 Hi P.B., In MS Office document Imaging/Scanning the OCR language availability is tied to the installed proofing tools. For languages not included in your version of MS Office 2003 you'd need the MS Office 2003 Proofing Tools kit (separate purchase). ========== <<"pbsterling" <pbsterling(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:8FA9B63B-24FF-4C14-9343-A94854731062(a)microsoft.com...
