From: Robert T on 25 Sep 2009 08:19 Diane; Thanks for reply. Here is what I have found. The birthdays were keyed on the Vista machine. When they are synced with the handheld they are transferred correctly -- that is they appear as occuring each year. On the next sync the ones on Vista are changed to every 12 years. additional syncs do not change either the handheld or the Vista machine. This has destroyed a tremendous amount of work that I have accumulated over many years. [I have hundreds of birthdays!]. I was not able to find a reference to the MS update you referred to nor any similar forum entry. -- Robert Tankersley CDP "Diane Poremsky [MVP]" wrote: > As an FYI, this is apparently a bug in the mobile update and Microsoft is > aware of it. From: Diane Poremsky [MVP] on 25 Sep 2009 09:05 I asked some people with knowledge of the problem so its not published in a KB (yet) or in any other official source. What I've found from various sources is that its related to no end date set - if you set an end date on the items they should be ok going forward. (I use a blackberry so I can't verify it.) -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: mailto:dailytips-subscribe-request(a)lists.outlooktips.net EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: mailto:EMO-NEWSLETTER-SUBSCRIBE-REQUEST(a)PEACH.EASE.LSOFT.COM Do you keep Outlook open 24/7?
