The "trend" function in the OPC toolbox works perfectly fine when the real-time data is plotted in a new figure plot (by following exact steps given in help files). But if a gui figure is created using GUIDE and an axes is placed in it, and in the script file the axes handle is passed to the trend function, the code does not plot as in the earlier case. What is noticeable is that just a single data point is in fact plotted because the x and y axis refresh to show time and value respectively (and they remain unchanged as the seconds pass by).
Is there some property setting for an axes which needs to be addressed so that it can receive and plot real-time data? Does anyone know a way to get over this problem.
