From: Paster on 27 Jan 2010 16:39 Have 2 PCs both Windows XP. Both have Office 2007 installed and Office 2002 was left installed as an option during 2007 install. Both have SP2 update as well as KB967642 installed in that order. Both run successfully through Microsoft Office Diagnostics. Both allow Paste Special for SMARTTAG paste of 'EXCEL Chart (entire workbook)'. Only 1 PC has option for 'Microsoft Office EXCEL Chart Object' from Home Ribbon pulldown for Paste. How can I get the 2nd PC to allow paste from the Home Ribbon Paste Pulldown for a Microsoft Office EXCEL Chart Object?

How can I get the > 2nd PC to allow paste from the Home Ribbon Paste Pulldown for a Microsoft > Office EXCEL Chart Object? You're using Paste Special? I get this all the time on several PCs. I copy from Excel, go to PPT and try to paste special, as excel object and it's not available. If I go back to Excel and do the copy again (sometimes again and again) it eventually works. It *seems* to be more reliable if I rightclick, copy in Excel rather than using Ctrl+C ============================== PPT Frequently Asked Questions http://www.pptfaq.com/ PPTools add-ins for PowerPoint http://www.pptools.com/
