From: JNelsonCPath on 18 Mar 2010 18:23 My organization runs Office 2007 on both Windows XP Pro clients and Windows 7 Enterprise. Recently we have been noticing a problem with inserted images in both Word 2007 and Excel 2007 where you insert an image into your document and save it, and the software puts a black border on the top and the left sides of the image. We can remove the border from most Word docs by saving the file in the previous version, which we don't want to do. We can also 'sometimes' remove the border by formatting the image and removing the countour color from the 3D properties. Removing the contour helped in Excel a few times when saving in the 2003 version has not. This problem happens regularly, but the fixes are extremely intermittent and do not work every time. There are a TON of posts about this same problem on the internet, but I have not been able to find a good fix and I could not find any information that Microsoft had acknowledged the problem. Does anyone have any advice about this one?
