From: Allan on 2 Jun 2010 11:43 Recently upgraded to Office 2010 and am VERY unhappy with the appearance of the various apps - especially Outlook. Three questions please: 1) Other than the 3 included "skins", is there any way to change the color scheme? It is both "blah" and hard to read. I'd like a bright color with nice contrasting text. 2) Is there any way to get smaller icons on the main ribbon? The ribbon simply takes up too much room. 3) Is it possible to customize any of the icons (create a new one or alter the existing image)? Thanks in advance for any assistance or information. -- Allan Forum Admin tweaks.com

To quickly minimize the Ribbon, double-click the name of the active tab. Double-click a tab again to restore the Ribbon. Keyboard shortcut - To minimize or restore the Ribbon, press CTRL+F1. Far right, next to question mark help icon - small up or down looking icon to minimize or restore.
