From: richardw1972 on 26 Jun 2007 09:10 I really appreciate your advice, but it doesn't make sense to me. Firstly, I'm not getting the error 9348 at all. Secondly, I've looked up "exchange scripting console" which you mention on your blog and the only references to it that I can find on the MS site (or Google, for that matter) are to Exchange Server 2007 - and as I said I'm on 2003. Please help, this is absolutely doing my head in! From: micah.davis on 26 Jun 2007 11:09 Okay I believe I may have found the solution to this Cached/Non-Cached GAL problem. When in cached exchange mode you are using the Offline Addresss Book. There is an update interval that defaults to 24hours. Right click on it in then click Rebuild. Do a Send/Recieve on all Address Books. Works for me. From: richardw1972 on 26 Jun 2007 11:21 That was pretty much the first thing I tried! It's a problem with the actual generation of the OAL. It won't rebuild properly either (a) during the usual, daily rebuild or (b) if I try manually to rebuild it using ESM.
