Slack 13 and (for the moment) kde4.

Allegedly Okular will display epub documents. An internet site
suggests this command:
kbuildsycoca4 --noincremental

This runs but generates copious error messages, most about missing
trailing semicolons, and Okular still won't recognize epub.

Anyone here know how to fix this problem? I hate to download and debug
the complex calibre suite just to get a simple reader.

I found a plugin for Firefox that will read epub. And after I
installed it Firefox regained the ability to print displayed items.
That was a most welcome side effect.
