It's not an RTU issue, it's a copyright issue.

Technically you can't copy Solaris 8/9 and give that copy to someone
else - doing so is akin to copying a music CD or DVD and giving it to
someone.

I'm not going to say that anyone would/wouldn't care if you did, but...
