It's a joke. You never have had a very good sense of humour

He just wants to know how many people use it. You receive no
written permission, serial number or anything else ... You don't even
need a name, address or email address. You just have to agree to use
it. There is no form for version 2.00.

(No) registration
OllyDbg 2.00 is Copyright (C) 2000-2010 Oleh Yuschuk. It is a
closed-source freeware. For you as a user
this means that you can use OllyDbg for free, whether for private
purposes or commercially, according to
the license agreement. Registration is not necessary. I have
introduced it for the first version just to see
how popular my program is. The results were above any expectations. I
was overwhelmed with the
registration forms, and this had noticeable negative influence on my
productivity. Therefore: there is no
registration for the OllyDbg 2.00.
If you are professor or teacher and use OllyDbg for educational
purposes, I would be very glad if you
contact me (Ollydbg(a)t-online.de), especially if you have ideas how to
make my product more studentfriendly
or better suited for the educational process.

It looks to me, by you not addressing the issue brought forward, but
merely spewing forth a few jejune pejoratives in what appears to be an
outright obvious attempt to evade and sidestep the matter, the only
thing you've accomplished with that reply of yours is you've
categorically proven his point for him.

And I'm sure he appreciates it, as do the rest of us.
