From: TPiezas on 16 Jun 2010 15:32 Hello all, Not so famous as d = 163, we have, e^(pi*sqrt(58)) = 396^4 - 104.0000001... It has this nice property that 58 (-4^4 + 396^4) = (8^2)(2)(105560^2). The large square on the RHS appears in a formula by Ramanujan. However, rational d also works, e^(pi*sqrt(89/3)) = 300^3 + 41.99998... which leads to 3*89 (2^2*3^3 + 300^3) = (6^2)(14151^2). The large square on the RHS also appears in a certain formula... See: http://sites.google.com/site/tpiezas/updates06 Sincerely, - Titus
