It is -ludicrous- that an app is released unable to convert its own file vCurrent-1 preference file, or spontaneously 'corrupts' it every so often. Is ye olde trick of writing to a temp file then swapping at the last moment forgotten? Can they not pre-parse their own prefs, or even upgrade them during the install process? Pah. Cheers, Ian
