From: Andy Hewitt on 4 May 2010 13:18 I just got this off the MacUpdate site, although couldn't find it on the VirtualBox site. Being a very light, non-critical user, I decided to give it a punt. I've just opened up, updated Additions, and now allowing other updates to complete (Windows and Comodo mainly). Seems very responsive indeed, as far as I can remember it feels like it could keep up with Parallels or VMware (indeed, VMware ran bloody terrible for me here). Proper dual screen support now too, and it seems stable enough so far. -- Andy Hewitt <http://web.me.com/andrewhewitt1/>

I've just installed it on Ubuntu 10.04 ant it confirms it's Oracle VM, 3.2.0_Beta1 and there are no updates. > >Seems very responsive indeed, as far as I can remember it feels like it >could keep up with Parallels or VMware (indeed, VMware ran bloody >terrible for me here). I had XP on VB 3.1.6 on Ubuntu 9.1 and that ran pretty fast. I just didn't get round to working out why I couldn't see USB devices on the guest machine though. > >Proper dual screen support now too, and it seems stable enough so far. Trying it now.
