Is there a way to change the Outlook 2007 display font?

I am talking about the font the program uses for general display, menus,
etc. I have finally been able to turn off the clear type, but the font is
different than what is used on the rest of the computer. It appears to be
something similar to a calibri, but it is difficult to read. The rest of the
computer uses Tahoma and is just fine.

To test this, I changed the computer font to Times New Roman, and almost
everything changed except Outlook 2007.

Most of what you've named are controlled by the Windows theme. Some items are
controlled by Outlook, but without knowing exactly which items you mean, we
can't say.

It turns out that Outlook 2007 ignores the system fonts and uses its own
font... unless of course you delete it.

After having enough of the Outlook 2007 font I searched and found the
following link:
http://t-machine.org/index.php/2007/11/28/fixing-the-blurry-fonts-in-outlook-2007/

It turns out the culprit is the "Segoe UI" font which comes with Office
2007. If you delete this font from the system, Outlook 2007 will then
default back to the system font.

Now it looks normal again.

I'm glad you found the solution and that you posted it here.
