From: tweekes on 3 Feb 2010 12:50 Outlook 2007 will sometimes hang on downloading the last email, i.e. 37 of 37 and stop all send recieve activities. If I close the program, it won't reopen and I have to restart the computer. Also, when sending a mail merge of a word html newsletter, it will hang on a sending. Earthlink says no problems there with numbers of emails sent. Again have to restart. Running Vista Business, Outlook 2007, Office 2007, Dell Optiplex 740, Virus Mc Affee Sonic Wall enforced client software from office server. Have done system cleaners etc. got rid of superflous software etc. no luck. Help, really difficult when trying to figure out where it stopped sending on a 250 recipient mail merge (send 25 at a time). -- Thank You in Advance

If you have your security software configured to scan incoming mail, disable that integration and see if that makes a difference. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook]
