Using POP (SMTP - if that's relevant). I have asked him to open in safe mode going forward and let me know if he still has the problem. Once again thanks for bearing with me! What type of mail account are you using? Exchange, POP, IMAP, Hotmail? Does Outlook behave the same way if you start it in safe mode (hold Ctrl when you start it)?
