From: Alan on 7 May 2010 07:39 But at least the categories are stored in the mailbox in 2007, not a registry key. Can anyone suggest the best way to add contacts who have the same category to a new distribution list? Drag and drop of contacts into a list doesn't seem to work in 2007 ... Drag and drop of contacts into a > list doesn't seem to work in 2007 ... Since you get most of the benefits of DLs by using categories, it may not be necessary. However, if you create a By Category view that filters all but the names and addresses, you should be able to use copy/paste to create a DL from the view. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook]
From: Alan on 8 May 2010 08:51 No unfortunately that doesn't work. We have users who want to go back to "real" DLs from many, many category-based DLs.
