From: Roz on 2 Mar 2010 03:44 Hi, My company is using Outlook 2007 with Exchange 2007. Recently users have noticed that they get disconnected intermittently and Outlook reconnects successfully after a while. They noticed it because there was a Outlook prompt. Just 2 quick questions does Outlook disconnect after some period of inactivity? Is there any knowledge based articles that this is a known issue for the Outlook program? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Thanks Check the health of the Exchange server. Outlook does not have an idle timeout configured by default. Sounds like network connectivity issues to me and should be reported to your Exchange admin. -- Leonid S.
