Downloading a free spell check is the simplest way around this. Vampirefo Spell Check. Download it from Major Geeks: http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=2952 Or download it from SnapFile: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/spelloe.html Or you may like TinySpell. (Checks the spelling as you type). Click on Outlook Express at the top of the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work Offline (or double click Working Online in the Status Bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.
