Hi Trekrod,

Did you ever get to the bottom of this issue? I have one user that has the
exact same symtoms going on even after a freshly imaged machine. The issue is
exact to what you we're dealing with and everything was fine for 2 weeks then
it happened again. Any insight you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Brian

Hi guys, as luck would have it I rolled out 30 Dell Optiplexes 6 months ago
using Ghost. All 29 are the same config as you mentioned. Clean install of
XP Pro (Full SP'd) Office 2007 (Full SP) MCafee EPO pushing out Virusscan and
Antispam to clients. All are perfect , clean error logs, no problems, apart
from this fault on the Chief Exec's machine. Why his....

I have tried removing WDS 4 (Windows Desktop Search) as it was contantly
indexing his mail and even that didn't help. If anyone has found a fix for
this I would be eternally grateful. I'm going to take Mcafee off next and
see if that has any effect. I did notice that it mainly happens opening HTML
e-mail though. Hmm
