From: Bob I on 26 Jan 2010 13:29 Outlook has no control over the security of a PDF file, that's handled by the PDF file creation software and the reader, but you can certainly e-mail the file to the recipients. From: Diane Poremsky [MVP] on 26 Jan 2010 16:19 I don't think you can password protect PDF files, but you could always zip it and password the zip. you'll need to find a way to tell the right people what the password is - you won't be able to email it to them if the others also read the mail. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com/ Outlook Tips by email: mailto:dailytips-subscribe-request(a)lists.outlooktips.net EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: mailto:EMO-NEWSLETTER-SUBSCRIBE-REQUEST(a)PEACH.EASE.LSOFT.COM Poll: What version of Exchange server do you use? http://forums.slipstick.com/showthread.php?t=33803 "Glenna" <Glenna(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:2C8D8AB1-DC0F-4D10-84CC-CEC9070A3047(a)microsoft.com... > Can I send a PDF that requires a password to open? Adobe Acrobat allows you to "set password to open" at least as far back as version 6, but the zip folder password option in Windows will work as well.
