From: kraut on 25 Mar 2010 22:20 This may not be the correct group to post this to and if not I am sorry but I thought I would take a chance and see if someone might be able to help me out. I have several files with the extension of .PDS which were made in 2001 using Windows 98 using a program such as PrintShop, PrintMaster, or such but I can not remember which and I would hate to have to reinstall all my old programs on XP to find out which program they were from. They are a certificate or poster type document that I made up which are only one page in size. I have the hard copies of them that I printed out back then but would like to be able to open them because the info has changed on some of them. I made poster / certificate type thing for my family with names and birth / death dates. Thanks for any help that someone might have.

By your description, I would think that they are Print Shop ".PDS" files a Google search on Print Shop + .PDS gets quite a few hits. Your post may've been OT, but compared to the *really* OT posts in here, it was a welcome relief ;-) HTH -- dee

There are hints on the net that other programs may also open that format.
