I have a TOC that has several styles of page numbering, I need the first
section to have roman numerals, then an additional section to have page
numbers listed as S1 and a section to have page numbers listed as A1. How do
I format the page numbering to do this?

The ToC will pick up whatever page numbers appear in the book ms., so
if you have formatted your three sections properly, it will come out
the way you want.
